The EU Food & Veterinary Headquarters, commissioned by the European Union and designed by the Office of Public Works, has been re-located from Brussels to Dunsany in Co. Meath. This 13,000 sq.m building houses a wide range of facilities comprising of office space, 13 meeting rooms which have been designed to be some of the largest in Ireland, with adjoining translation booths, a creche, dining facilities and space for a library and archive. Update Technology were contracted by the OPW to install the electrical services.
The EU Food & Veterinary Headquarters is currently the only European Headquarters located in Ireland, thus making this a very prestigious project.
