The Galway Civic Museum is located on Spanish Parade in the centre of the city.
The Museum was designed to house a wide variety of exhibits of local historical
importance. Construction began in September 2004 and was completed in May 2005.
The Museum is a three storey building with 2,000 sq.m. of floor space consisting
of a restaurant, public exhibition area, offices and a library.
