The Ilac Centre, located on Henry Street is one of Ireland’s first large shopping centres. Originally built in the 1980’s, the centre has undergone its first major refurbishment.
The Ilac Centre houses a wide variety of retail and food outlets, which continued trading throughout the refurbishment; therefore as part of the contract Update Technology were given the task of keeping disturbances to traders to a minimum whilst work continued
Construction began in January 2005 and was completed in December 2006. Update Technology were responsible for the mechanical, electrical and sprinkler installations.
