The NICB (National Institute for Cellular
Biotechnology) is a multidisciplinary centre for research
in Fundamental and Applied Cellular Biotechnology, Molecular
Cell Biology and Biological Chemistry. It includes a
multidisciplinary team of Cell and Molecular Biologists,
Biotechnologists, Chemists, Computer Scientists, and
experts in Bioscience Communication.
Built on the DCU Campus, the NICB is a state of the
art building which houses offices, laboratories with
over 1,000sq.m. of clean rooms and ancillary areas.
Update Technology were contracted to install the electrical
services for this project and commenced on site in
May 2005.
