Derrygid Ltd & the Radisson SAS Group commissioned the refurbishment and extension to the 16th Century Farnham House in Cavan. Construction commenced on the 18,000 sq.m. development in July 2005 and was completed in July 2006. The project involved the construction of a number of linear blocks, 3 storeys high, which contain most of the 158 bedrooms, while Farnham House itself houses eight luxury suites. There is also a state of the art wellness spa, which contains an indooor / outdoor infinity pool, gymnasium and treatment rooms.
The hotel also has a conference centre, restaurant & bar and a championship 18 hole golf course.
