The Portmarnock Hotel is an international standard
4 star hotel. Located on the northside of Dublin City
close to Portmarnock Beach, the hotel has 84 rooms
and can boast one of Irelands most prestigious golf
courses.
This project consisted of the refurbishment of the
existing hotel including the listed Jameson Building
and a new accommodation block.
The key to the successful completion of this project
was the detailed planning and co ordination of the
new cable containment. As our services substantially
impact on the fabric of the building, the in-depth
planning, routing and concealing of these services
led to the new installation having virtually no impact
on the existing building after the refurbishment.
In 2006 Update Technology were contracted to add another
new accommodation block which will house 40 bedrooms.
